Congratulations on your new status! Now, don’t mess up. Take a little time this weekend to pack your carry-on and keep it permanently packed. Buy seconds of all chargers (phone, Kindle, computer) and keep them in that bag. Forever. Buy seconds of toiletries, a smart pashmina, and an entire work outfit. Keep it in that bag. Forever. Put in a spare swimsuit, a few thank-you cards, your business cards, and anything else that is a must-have for your flights. Each time you come home from a trip, give a quick check to make sure that it’s all there and you are good to go at a moments notice.
