Pull it back, straighten it, or throw in an accessory or two? Worldette has you covered to keep you looking stylish while you travel.
When we travel, we all want to look good. I mean, who doesn’t want to look as perfect as Michelle Obama getting off of a plane? But oftentimes we don’t have the time and less likely a personal stylist. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t have a do (almost) as perfect as Michelle’s. Worldette shows you five simple, but elegant ways to do your hair when traveling.
Whether a French braid or a normal braid, your hair won’t get in your way, it won’t look messy, and you’ll look fabulous when you arrive at your destination. It’s also very easy to do, and if you want to add some decoration, try a feather clip
Low side ponytail
Classic and casual. Pull you hair back with a band just above the nape of your neck right behind your ear. This way your hair will be out of your way when you want to lean back and sleep on the plane and it won’t get messy.
Straightened hair is a good option if you have a long layover between flights. While you’re waiting you can straighten your hair before your final destination, and when you arrive your hair will be freshly brushed and straightened. CHI even offers an adorable travel-size hair straightener that will fit easily into your carry-on.
To do your hair with a headband, make sure you bring along a brush as well so that you can brush your hair and put on the headband right before you land. Anthropologie has some gorgeous beaded stretchy headbands that you can wear with your hair down or in a ponytail.
Half up, half down
A comfortable way to do your hair half up-half down is with a small clip at the top of head, pulling back just a small amount of hair. This way it’s not in your face, nor do you have an annoying clip poking you in the back of your head.
