Dear Girl About Town,
I moved into my new home and had a house-warming party last weekend, and so many wine glasses were broken! I shrugged it off so the guests didn’t feel too guilty but I’m crushed. My matching sets are all disjointed.

What can I do? Replace all of the sets?

Keep your matching sweater set but go free with the china! Mismatched sets are the norm now-a-days and so unique.

Keep your various glasses and for the next party, let guests chose the glass that ‘speaks’ to them. They are easy to identify, you can pick up cool ones at second hand stores and if another one breaks, so be it.
