How do I sign up to receive the Worldette newsletter?
I’ve signed up but I’m still not receiving Worldette
So you’ve signed up, but you’re not yet receiving our daily emails? Is it possible that your email service provider has classified the email as junk mail? Add email@example.com to your inbox safe list! Done and done!
What are the recent changes at gmail and how are they stopping me seeing your emails?
Yep! We know about the recent changes with Gmail. Here’s how they affect you. Gmail has recently categorised the Worldette emails to you as “Promotions” and automatically forces them to skip your inbox. That means you won’t see our updates unless you change the settings. Eeek! Here’s what to do: create a search for an email from: firstname.lastname@example.org then simply drag it to the ‘Primary’ inbox. A pop up will ask you if you want to do this for all other email@example.com emails. Say YES! Done. Easy. Peasy. Lemon …. squeezy!
How can I unsubscribe from Worldette?
Was it something we said? Drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let’s talk about how we can work it out! Otherwise, if you feel Worldette isn’t for you, click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in any email. We’ll never bother you again. Promise!
What are Partnership emails?
Partnership emails are individualized messages from brands that align with our mission. We feel you may be interested to learn more about them, as these companies have paid to advertise with Worldette. We trust these companies and feel they provide a product or service is of interest to you, our friends and readers.
What’s your editorial policy?
Like you, we’re serious about our free time. That’s why we only cover what we really love.
We don’t write reviews of travel locations, hotels or places to eat. There are more than plenty of that on the internet.
What the Worldette team provides falls in line with simple recommendations on living bigger, hot-to-trot tips, sisterly advice, and must-know news. We’ll sieve through all the crap out there so YOU don’t have to.
Everything we cover is trustworthy and actionable. Each recommendation has been vetted by our editors.
Remember that friend who seems to be in all the right places, with all the cool people, doing all the exotic things? Enter your new Worldette family!!
We respect your privacy and will never pass on or your sell your email address, or other details to any other lists. This policy will never change. Simple.
What’s your mission behind all this?
Our mission is to get women out in the world. Our mission is to put “travel and adventures” in the context of the larger world we live in: discovering ways to travel on our own terms, knowing what’s happening half the world away and why it affects us.
We and our tribe of Worldettes believe that women should explore, learn and do good. We believe this will in turn inspire their girlfriends back home, their offspring, their old friends on facebook, their mums, their dads and their great-aunt Margaret who has not smiled since “that bastard left.”
Worldettes help our female sisters in countries we may have never visited … simply because we understand and appreciate that we are ALL connected. The Worldettes will encourage you to live a life that is truly free and fun.
Ultimately Worldettes will inspire the women they encounter on their travels and projects to also take control of their own lives: to go travel, be global, live free, do good, and have fun.
